Reason TV, a division of the libertarian magazine Reason, for some reason reasons that the pandemic will finally drive business to accept that online world utopia we web-heads dreamed about back in the 90s, with work when you want where you want just in time delivery live in cyberspace flying cars pill food existence (unicorns, rainbows, etc). Is that all now finally reasonable?
Adam Tooze at Foreign Policy Magazine might agree to the extent that The Normal Economy Is Never Coming Back, but lays it all at the feet of governments dropping thick stacks and a spoonful of "Cannot predict now".
I think the smart money is on something more akin to Thunderdome, but with less sultry R&B singers and more chainmail.
